    Wetland Wonders (7-8)

    Discover the magic of wetlands in our engaging Wetland Wonders camp! Students will embark on a thrilling adventure to a local wetland, where they’ll participate in an exciting scavenger hunt, exploring the unique ecosystem.

    Through hands-on “pond dipping” activities, campers will use nets to uncover the fascinating insects that inhabit our ponds. They’ll delve into the diverse wildlife of the wetland and learn about its crucial role in maintaining ecological balance. Creative art projects inspired by wetland animals will allow campers to express their newfound knowledge artistically.

    Please note that part of this camp involves outdoor activities at the wetland, rain or shine!

    Optional extras for this camp include the healthy hot lunch program, and before and/or after camp care.

    STEM ‘Halloween Edition’ (7-8)

    Join us for an exhilarating Halloween-themed STEM adventure designed to spark curiosity and inspire a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

    Our young engineers will delve into creative projects, starting with designing and constructing Halloween-inspired copper tape art. Next, they’ll tackle the Candy Catapult Challenge, putting their problem-solving skills to the test by collaborating with peers to build functional catapults using a variety of materials. Additionally, they’ll gain a hands-on introduction to basic circuitry through engaging activities with Halloween-themed squishy circuits.

    Safety is our utmost priority. Our experienced instructors will ensure that campers learn to use tools and equipment, such as X-acto knives and hot glue guns, with the highest standards of safety and responsibility.

    Encourage your child to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costume and join us for a memorable and educational experience!

    Clay Creations (7-8)

    In our “Clay Creations” camp, students will dive into the captivating world of clay, mastering a range of tools and techniques to bring their imaginations to life.

    They’ll learn to craft delightful plasticine animals, whimsical foods, and fantastical creatures, all while enhancing their fine motor skills and hand strength. They will engage in activities such as rolling, shaping, and carving clay, with a focus on attention to detail.

    By the end of the camp, your child will proudly take home a collection of their unique clay creations, showcasing their newfound skills and creativity.

    Optional extras for this camp include the healthy hot lunch as well as before and after camp care.

    Junior Chefs (7-8)

    This year’s “Junior Chefs” camp is a Valentine’s Day Special Edition!

    Students will prepare a morning breakfast dish, a hot lunch, and a sweet afternoon snack – all Valentine’s themed.

    Students will learn to use cooking materials and equipment safely, under the guidance of experienced instructors. They will practice reading and following recipes, enhancing their culinary skills and confidence. Best of all, they get to savor and enjoy the delicious dishes they create!

    NOTE: Our Hot Lunch Program is mandatory for this course. Select this option during the registration process.

    Plants & Pollinators (7-8)

    Our “Plants and Pollinators” camp combines the wonders of nature with hands-on science exploration!

    Campers will embark on an exciting field trip to a local community garden, where they will learn about the vital role of pollination in our ecosystem. Through interactive activities and an experiment, they’ll discover how bees and other pollinators help flowers grow and thrive.

    “Plants and Pollinators” offers a unique opportunity for campers to connect with nature, develop an appreciation for the environment, and gain hands-on experience with scientific concepts. Please note, part of this camp will be held outdoors, rain or shine!

    Optional extras for this camp include the healthy hot lunch as well as before and after camp care.
