What's on the Menu? – Monday's Snack

On Monday, for snack we had strawberry smoothies and eggs on toast. These are the ingredients that we used for the smoothie strawberry, bananas, milk and flaxseed. To make the toast and eggs we used eggs, toast and sea salt.

Why are these foods good for you?
Strawberry is a fruit that gives you energy.
Bananas are another fruit that gives you energy.
Milk is dairy so it gives you strong teeth and strong bones.
Flaxseed is protein so it repairs your muscles.
Eggs are another form of protein so it repairs your muscles.
Toast is a carb it gives you energy.
Sea salts just a seasoning to make stuff taste better.

And that is what we had for snack on Monday.
Makes: 2 servings 
INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 1 1/2cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

 
DIRECTIONS
1. Blend all until smooth.
