On Tuesday, we made tuna melts, ingredients are celery sticks, carrots, and tuna.
First, we choped celary sticks and carrots into small pieces,next we put all the materials together and some mayor,then we mixed them all together. After that,we chopped the tomatos into slices,last we put cheese and tuna on the toasts,and we baked it, while it was baking,we started making our smoothie.
For making the smoothie,we put lemon juice, orange juice,salt and honey into the blender first,then we press the start button.It started to blend all the things together,we waited for thirty seconds,when it was done,we separated it into each cup,then we gave it to everyone in the class.It is fun to make snacks for everyone, I wish we could do that again.
Ingredients (2 x servings):
- 1 can tuna (in water) drained
- 1/4 cup carrots, shredded
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1 tbsp red onion, minced (optional)
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- Worcestershire sauce (few drops on each serving)
- salt & pepper
- 2 slices wholewheat bread
- 2 slices 2% cheese
- 2 slices tomato
Combine tuna, celery, carrots, onion, mayo, salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over low heat. Spray skillet with oil, and place two slices of bread on top. Top bread with cheese, then tuna salad and tomato. Cook on low heat until cheese melts and bread gets toasty. Add on Worcestershire sauce. Serve immediately.
