Friday snack time blueberry basil smoothie
Today for snack we had a basil smoothie.
In the smoothie there are blueberries, basil leaves, spinach leaves, bananas and unsweetened almond milk.
Why are these things good for you?
Blueberries are good for you because they have lots of vitamin k, vitamin c and fiber.
Spinach is good for you because it has a good source of omega-3.
Almond milk is good for you because it helps with weight management.
Bananas are good for you because they help with weight loss.
And that is how you make a healthy snack! :} ;]
Makes: 2 servings
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup basil leaves
- 1/2 cup spinach leaves
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 banana
1. Blend all until smooth.
